Job description

Job Summary:

This Graduate Surveyor is primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of telecom sites and supporting project-related work.


Primary Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Managing and responding to questions on all estate’s matters pertaining to telecoms (existing and new clients), including lease renewals, rent reviews, new lettings, audit/inspections, vacant possessions, etc.
  • Attend meetings with clients and advise them on issues as needed.
  • Compile monthly reporting to show progress of projects and cost summaries.
  • Perform general property management responsibilities including rent collection, terminations, access and rights over land, including wayleaves.
  • Manage disputes as they arise and elevate to management as needed.
  • Assist with other tasks as and when required.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or University

Experience:

  • Related experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Internet software

Soft Skills:

  • Eager to learn and ability to adapt to changing situations as needed.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet monthly deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 5 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • May be required to carry out audits on rooftop or network rail sites.
