Introduction to Transport and Ground Engineering

Graduate Geotechnical Role
Our Engineers apply their specialist skills to buildings and infrastructure projects across the globe. We offer our clients a broad spectrum of support and consulting services in a wide variety of projects including highways, rail, energy, waste, water, mining, education, sports and leisure facilities, government/commercial and industrial buildings. As one of the world's leading building and infrastructure design consultancies, we offer clients the innovation and technical know-how to continually deliver their projects on schedule, on budget, and increasingly sustainably, but without compromise.
Your day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to, working in multi-disciplinary design teams including Rail, Water, Civil, Tunnelling, Buildings and Bridges; understanding all geotechnical aspects at all stages of the project lifecycle, including initial desk studies, ground investigations, geotechnical design, carbon management and site monitoring roles during construction.
We are looking for candidates with degree qualified to a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geosciences or similar subject, at 2.1 or above. Preferably a post-graduate qualification (Masters or PhD) in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, Soil Mechanics, or Rock Mechanics.

If you can combine these skills with an understanding of (or willingness to learn about) the either of the above disciplines and a desire to deliver excellent services for clients, we'd like to hear from you.
