Job description
Based at our poultry farm in Duns, Scottish Borders, opportunities have arisen for a General Farm Worker. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate competent poultry husbandry skills, such as feeding livestock, checking watering systems, weighing birds, monitoring bird welfare/behaviour, bio-security protocols and general farm maintenance. Full training will be provided, although previous poultry experience would be advantageous.The working pattern is 39 hours Monday – Friday plus 18 weekends per annum (consisting of 8 hours Saturday & Sunday).We offer a competitive rate of pay and excellent terms of employment.Rate of pay £25,968.37 pa with the opportunity to rise to £27,893.01 paMust have access to own transport due to location of farm and start times.
