Position: Graduate Credit Risk Analyst

Reporting to: Senior Credit Risk Analyst
Location: Crownhill, Milton Keynes/Remote working
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Start Date: July / August 2023

To support Snap’s growth goals, we will need additional support in the Credit Risk Team. If you are in your final year of university and looking to take the first steps in your career, then a Credit Risk Analyst role may be the job for you.
The role and responsibilities include:
· Create and monitor KPIs across the customer lifecycle with a focus on credit and profitability performance including but not limited to; through-the-door application quality, first payment defaults, score distributions, merchant quality, pricing, representative APRs, and collections rates.
· Deliver reports proactively and clearly deliver insights and recommendations to enhance the current processes and tools in place to drive revenue, efficiencies, cost savings and a better customer outcome where possible.
· Solve real business problems for Snap. Ask questions about the data and our processes and keep digging until you understand the trends and what we can do to positively influence them.
· Support credit change initiatives as required, for example, embedding additional data sources like a second bureau, current account API, or implementing a new challenger credit model methodology.
· Build strong relationships across the UK business and US Data Science team.
To be successful in the role as a Credit Risk Analyst we require the following skills and experience:
· Final year University student looking for the first steps of their career.
· A predicted 2:1 or above, studying a numerical degree.
· Successful track record of building strong relationships with peers, customers, and colleagues.
· Good analytical skills.
· Coding experience, ideally SQL, Python, R.
· Strong attention to detail.
· IT literate.
· Pro-active; help find one-stop resolutions.
