Role Purpose:
This role provides a valuable service, enabling work processes to operate seamlessly. A keen eye for detail is crucial as the documents you will be creating are checked rigorously by HMRC. This role is fundamental to keeping the organization and the daily freight running smoothly, efficiently and compliantly.
Main Duties:
- Maintaining a positive, flexible and professional attitude at all times
- Possess good organisation skills with top level accuracy, exercise great attention to detail
- Relaying issues in a timely manner to the relevant department / depot.
- Processing customs paperwork accurately
- Understanding the data requirements in a shipment and check for accuracy
- Understand the customs requirements for invoices, packing lists, recognising commodity codes that require additional certification requirements and ensure they are up to customs standards in the relevant countries.
- Tasks must be performed within stipulated period of time as failure to do so can dent the company’s image in the view of the client.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues in various departments as necessary.
- A team attitude is expected, try to assist team members where possible when your tasks are complete
Hours
Monday to Friday 16:00 to 23:00
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £33,000.00 per year
