The Avon Pension Fund is looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team.


Successful candidates will benefit from:

Previous pension experience is desirable. Training will be provided at all stages, along with an introduction to the work carried out by other areas within the Pensions department, giving the opportunity to consider alternative roles as your experience grows.


Initially working on the i-Connect data team, you will be required to demonstrate great attention to detail, good communication skills, experience of using Excel and an ability to quickly learn processes and systems. The successful applicants will be responsible for ensuring accurate data is held on member records. This will involve:


  • Using reporting tools to identify discrepancies on member records
  • Contacting employers to obtain missing data and answering employer queries relating to the data
  • Checking and validating the data returned, contacting the employers to rectify any discrepancies
  • Uploading data to the pension database and checking to ensure member records have been correctly updated
  • Checking existing records for potential inconsistencies, updating the records where required.
