PeoplesFuture Limited is a dedicated subsidiary within the Coventry University Group and is looking to recruit Assistant Teaching Fellows in Electrical and Electronic Engineering to join the School of Future Transport Engineering.
The School of Future Transport Engineering was created in September 2022 in a Faculty restructure to be able to focus course and content development for the changing world. We aspire to be a leading, forward-thinking destination of choice for staff and students committed to transport innovation for future generations.
It brings together the faculty’s expertise and undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD courses in:
- Automotive and Motorsport engineering
- Aerospace engineering
- Electrical and Electronic engineering
- Aviation Management and Human Factors.
Our courses have a particular focus on the increasing importance of smart cities, electrification and transportation systems, and the move to sustainable energy and net zero.
Our aim is to address the emerging challenges of future transportation such as electrification, zero-emission propulsion, autonomous vehicles, and sustainable transport.
The Role
As Assistant Teaching Fellow you will contribute to the delivery of all aspects of electrical and electronic engineering topics with a particular interest in:
- Power Electronics
- Digital system design using FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays)
- Signal processing and
- Control engineering.
You will support teaching, curriculum development, and course co-ordination supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate teaching and other core activities, ensuring that students have an effective learning experience. You will also undertake small group teaching and marking. Assistant Teaching Fellows will support not only our on-campus provision but also the courses we provide to commercial and international partners.

You will have an excellent knowledge of academic theory and/or practice in a relevant discipline with a good level of intercultural competency and awareness of the needs of diverse learners, with the ability to communicate across a range of levels.
