Full Time, Permanent, and Weekly paid on Fridays.
Shifts and Pay:
Goods In Admin Operative- Day Shift, 2 out of 5 rolling, 6am-4pm: £12.14 per hour
Goods In Operative- Night Shift, 4 on 2 off, 9pm - 06.00am: £13.72 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

In our Tilmanstone Salads site we produce first class Salad’s products including leafy salad bags, leafy salad bowls, takeaway salad meals, prepared vegetables & side dishes for one of our most prestigious customers in our state-of-the-art factory.

The Role:
Our business’ key selling point is our handcrafted products and it is essential that we have a hard working, committed team to meet our high standards of quality in all our products.
Working as part of the Goods In team as a Goods In Operative your role is to ensure material to Tilmanstone Salads is received, stored and issued accurately.
As a Goods in Admin Operative your responsibilities will be:
- Book in deliveries and book future deliveries
- Generate expected delivery reports and communicate
- Manage drivers and storage of drivers keys for deliveries
- Book in product using QII assessment and unload sheets on protean
- Assign storage location and issues using pallet map
- Contact buying re delivery anomalies
- Input onto system and action additional material requests (AMR’s)
- Assist with unloading lorries and issuing raw materials
- Carry out daily stock checks as required, update/amend system if incorrect and inform/update buying team
- Email suppliers with delivery weights
- Update Europool tracker for European trays
- Record disposals
- Complete CMR log for empty trays and rejected material leaving the UK
- Complete all paperwork to the required standard in a timely manner
- Escalate to Line Leader and/or Team Leader, regarding product issues
- Work safely following Standard Operating Procedures
We are looking for individuals who:
Have Level 2 Food Safety, Manual Handling and COSHH experience. With a good understanding and pro-active approach to GMP/CAYG standards and administrative processes and systems under your control. Capable of maintaining a safe efficient work pace throughout the shift. Are computer literate, fully numerate and have effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to maintain clear, precise and accurate document controls for your area of responsibility. Have an excellent understanding of Goods In processes specific to your area. Take a structured approach to problem solving. You will need the ability to lift and handle up to 25kg throughout the working day, following manual handling regulations, 2 person lift at times if required. Have the flexibility to work in all departments as production demand requires
