Job description
The role will be part of the ICG KYC Operations, developing and oversighting the training program for the function and responsible for driving the regulatory KYC quality commitment for Citi. Supporting multiple lines of business; BCMA, Markets and CCB client population.
The successful candidate will oversee and manage a team of facilitators to execute the training programme Globally. The team will be responsible for coaching and training the participants on how to effectively complete KYC policy requirements.

Strategy and Leadership
- Oversight and management of the training program for the function and responsible for driving the regulatory KYC quality commitment for Citi.
- Continuously assess the status of training and implement steps to improve the quality and efficiency of reviews and help makers/checkers ensure their error rate is reduced.
Governance and Reporting
- Define and closely monitor operational training metrics
- Provide granular and detailed MIS to operations managers to manage the timeliness of training
- Work in partnership with the Training team and Operations to develop and implement action plans to improve quality based on monthly results/MIS.
- Provide updates at regular meetings with Governance, Compliance, etc.
Training Expectations:
- Partnering with the training Leads and Sponsors to help deliver first class training across the KYC Operations Organisation
- Delivering the expectations of the training objectives to a high standard
- Managing employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organising the resources to facilitate training programme
Training Delivery:
- Connecting with the audience - being able to communicate, explain and illustrate concepts
- Encouraging and supporting an engaging environment for trainees to openly participate
- Communicating to individuals with varying learning styles
- Ability to be flexible, think creatively and adjust training delivery to meet the needs of the learners
Strategic Training Development:
- Helping assist with training additional trainers throughout the Organisation
- Seeking feedback from cohort, and analyzing results for areas of improvement for the training programme
- Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programme
- Researching and recommending new training techniques, adjusting the curriculum and updating it to reflect developments within the industry

- Manage geographically dispersed team of trainers
- Ensure knowledgeable staff and continuous development plans in place for team(s)
- Assess effectiveness of individual completed quality control checks
Required Knowledge
- A proven track record with at least 10+ years of relevant KYC operations experience
- Proficiency at consolidating data from numerous sources to create presentations for all levels of management and other stakeholders
- Significant experience working with Excel, MS Office tools (including SharePoint), and other tools related to queries and data management
Preferred
- Strong Operations experience desirable
- Global experience would be beneficial
Required Skills:
- Exhibit good written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess the ability to work with various Stakeholders/Senior management and build and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to manage team level processes and deliver presentations
- Ability to proficiently use MS Office products, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Strong analytical and time management skills, excellent attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Management / Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years’ experience in relevant domain
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.

- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to work to tight deadlines as part of a team
- Ability to interact with Auditors, Compliance and Independent Control Groups as required
