Job description
My client is a 1500 person leader in Network Testing solutions sold to and through Telecoms Service Providers (previous experience in the Network Testing domain is not required).
My client supplies its network testing solutions to BT / EE and it is now looking to adopt a sell-through model with BT to replicate what it has achieved with Service Providers elsewhere (especially with Tier 1 Service Providers in North America).
The primary objective is to drive new business sales of my client's products, services and solutions, through BT’s Global Services and direct sales channel in any and all theatres where BT trades with end business users. The client's offering would allow BT's sales teams to offer services such as testing circuits / SD-wan solutions both pre-activation and whilst live (and monitoring thereafter) for example. Other solutions include security services etc.
This role requires someone that is prepared to hunt for business across BT Group including HQ functions, BT TV, R&D, BT Global Services and BT business including EE, any international Global service business units.
The ideal candidate will be a strong solutions salesperson and would have a background in selling any of across networks, core, BSS and OSS, virtualisation, security
and others in BT’s environment including an understanding of the mobile operator market (from a software or services perspective).
The role is home-based although the candidate will be expected to visit BT offices regularly.
