Our INNOFLATE General Managers are instrumental to supporting the Senior Managers but also to the Duty Managers and Team Members. At INNOFLATE we take confidence from our General Managers that they will take full ownership of the INNOFLATE Park which they operate.
The General Manager will support their Duty Managers to ensure together they provide a profitable and sustainable business that creates a unique experience to our customers and guests. As General Manager you will be responsible to ensure we provide a safe, clean, fun, friendly, and structured environment for all staff and customers.
The General Manager will take full ownership of the park they are stationed at, running all equipment and leading customers in safety the protocols. All General Managers will act out their role in professional manner and lead by example to Duty Managers and Team Members.
We understand and respect that Social Media (Facebook, Twitter etc) plays a part in everyone’s day to day activity however, we ask that General Managers monitor and remind staff of the sensitive of what you post and that nothing is posted that can be deemed as disrespectful to yourself, colleagues or management team.
As General Manager you will be the most senior representative for employees and customers your time as General Manager (when on duty and off). It is expected you will provide Leadership to Duty Managers and staff, ensures customer needs are met and exceeded, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Maintenance of the entertainment centre’s appearance and redemption presentation to INNOFLATE standards.
The General Manager will provide support to Senior Management Team during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise, whilst providing support to their counterparts and staff.
The General Manager should set and familiarise with INNOFLATE standards concepts, attire, practices, protocols and procedures within their role.
The General Manager must provide experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to lead and direct the business as and when required and be flexible schedule and ability to open and close the park based on the needs of the business.
As General Manager your role will evolve and you will be responsible for overall management and performance of your Parks operations including operational performance, client servicing and retention, employee management and budgetary and cost management.
This person ensures all operational goals are met consistently and works to implement and measure continuous improvement efforts.
General Managers Responsibilities:
Strong understanding and application of INNOFLATE policies and processes, determining the impact to the park team as changes are implemented and actively communicates the impact and provide potential alternatives to Senior Management team
Provides direction and measures the impact to the operation and changes, mitigating the impact of changes to the operation
Oversees, provides guidance on review of current work processes, procedures and policies, seeking efficiencies and effectiveness improvements making sure INNOFLATE objectives are met
Reviews operations performance reports and provides direction and implements programs to improve the performance of the Parks against goals (individuals and team)
Leads the team in error reduction efforts, providing direction, measurement and reviews of progress against goals and objectives
Ensure customer satisfaction is measured and goals are met; implementing plans for continuous improvement through appraisal system and day to day tasks
Balances the needs of the customer/client and operational need to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Regularly meets with the Senior Management team to review performance and make improvements for improved customer satisfaction
Meets with the community and regional external partners to grow awareness of INNOFLATE brand and journey
General Managers Attributes:
2+ years business experience
2+ years of prior management experience
Ability to follow Profit & Loss (P&L) budget and cost management
Gain local knowledge of the industry, areas of growth and collaboration opportunities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Create staff rota and understand areas of savings and control
Manage all Park HR correspondence and procedures
Ability to travel to other Parks when required to do so
Ability to work nights and weekends when needed
Prior experience working with entertainment clients is preferred
People person who can motivate, influence and hold respect
