Rainy River Mine
Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River Mine is an open pit, gold and silver producing, residential mine site.
The Rainy River Mine, located adjacent to the Ontario / Minnesota border is 65 Kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer. If you enjoy outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, winter sports and lake country then this is an area you will love to live and work in.

About The Role
Schedule: Shift 7/7 or 14/14 – 12 hour days and nights
Position Reports To: Mill Electrical Supervisor

Position Overview
The role of Mill Maintenance Electrician is to perform proactive and corrective maintenance duties for the Mill Maintenance Department.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate work activities with other construction projects.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all applicable units.
Actively participate in developing and building preventative maintenance schedules and objectives.
Support all departmental initiatives with a concentration on preventative maintenance and maintain the safe operation of all applicable units.
Communicate with other trades worker to coordinate maintenance activities.
Complete work orders as assigned by the Electrical Supervisor.
Report back to Electrical Supervisor regarding status and completion of assigned work.
Qualifications
Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent.
Relevant trade designation / certification required
Red seal Electrician
Instrumentation experience considered an asset
Emerson DeltaV/PLC experience considered an asset
Basic computer skills and knowledge in SAP considered an asset
5 years of relevant experience within an industrial or mining setting
Working in various weather conditions.
Safety conscious and team oriented
Able to communicate effectively
