Waiter/Waitress

We are looking for a friendly and attentive waiter/waitress to join our team at our Chinese restaurant. You will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Approximately 40.5 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers and present them with the menu
• Take orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
• Check on customers regularly and handle any requests or complaints
• Clear and clean tables and prepare them for the next customers
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Follow health and safety regulations and hygiene standards
• Promote our dishes and specials and make recommendations
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and the management

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role is preferred but not essential
• Speaking Cantonese is a bonus but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, courteous and customer-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
