Fostering Hearts is seeking dedicated and passionate foster carers to join our team! If you are looking for a rewarding and meaningful role, then look no further.
As an approved foster carer you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing home environment to children aged 0-18 years old who have been taken into care. You will provide the day to day needs' of the children, ensure they feel safe and secure in their new home and help them reach their full potential. In addition, you will work closely with South Coast Fostering's staff team, families and relevant professionals to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met.
To be considered as a potential foster carer at Fostering Hearts, you must:
- Have a spare bedroom in your home
- Be caring and compassionate
- Be resilient, able to remain calm under pressure
- Have excellent communication skills - Be willing to learn about different approaches to parenting so that we can help tailor support plans for every child
- A commitment to keeping up with training courses/qualifications required by South Coast Fostering.
In return we offer competitive wages ranging from £450 - £475 per week per child placed in your care plus additional allowances depending upon their needs. You will also receive regular one on one support from the team at South Coast Fostering along with friendship groups amongst other fosters which can offer invaluable advice during challenging times. Finally, Fostering Hearts also offers access to counselling services if needed throughout your fostering journey.
