THORPE PARK Resort are currently recruiting for a permanent Front of House (Admissions) Team Leader and Business Receptionist. In this role you will be the first point of contact for our employees, business visitors and VIP guests, offering a warm welcome, and ensuring everyone is adhering to uniform standards and site security procedures. In this fun and varied role, you will be supported in gaining a good general knowledge of the park and its operations, in order to provide our employees and guests with advice and answers to their queries or signposting them to the right person if needed. As a Team Leader you will ensure your team are always achieving and maintaining the highest standards of guest experience and customer service, to help ensure sales targets are met. You’ll also be gain experience as the departmental duty manager, on a rotational basis with other management, so you’ll be someone who can build strong relationships with others easily.
What is it we’re looking for in a successful candidate?
- Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Experience leading a team, whether inside or outside of a work context
- High level of motivation, both individually (self-sufficient with the ability to use your own initiative) and as part of a wider team
- Experience in having to problem solve, remain calm and make decisions quickly

This role is a Permanent variable contract, hourly-paid (£10.76ph, as of April 1st), which will include weekends and bank holidays during peak times.
