Fintech-Rec recruits on behalf of some of the most recognized brands within FX and Payments.
Our client is a leading FX and cross-border payments organization that offers a suite of products to support their sales process along with access to a vast portfolio of currencies and technology.
The company are expanding their sales desk and are seeking to hire an experienced FX Broker to contribute towards the future success of the business. This indivdual will have deliverable FX experinece and likely under valued in their current orginisation.
Our client offers industry leading salaries alingside a fair and attractve commission structure. though they are a large business they are in a build, so this role wuld suit an ambisious sales person capible of working full time in an corporate office environment.
The Role:
- Identify, develop, structure and close new business with prospective clients by targeting all verticals to build a strong pipeline of business and deliver against sales targets and ensure KPIs are met.
- You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting through to opening the account. You’ll be primarily speaking to SME owner-directors and finance managers.
- Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our products by working closely with management and your peers.
- Clearly outline and effectively present key features and benefits of all products and solutions along with the advantages against competition.
- Responsible to build and maintain an active client portfolio.
- Maintain a high close rate on all leads through self-generation or platforms provided by the company. Attend events to network and create prospective clients.
- Working closely with compliance to ensure best business practices and regulations are met.
- Implement, monitor and assess referral process and integration levels with key clients under management.
- Uphold the strong work ethic and high levels of professional conduct expected by the Leadership Team.
- Building rapport internally with key stakeholders to ensure the best quality processes are implemented.
- Maintain regular contact and strong relationships with partners who can introduce business, includes international travel.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of economics and politics and be able to clearly communicate market news to clients at all levels.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Sales on potential leads and sales whilst work towards realistic sales targets on a monthly and annual basis. Keep the CRM database up to date and accurate.
- Ensure up to date knowledge of currency products and regulatory requirements with special regard to the AML requirements.
- Promptly alert the MLRO of any suspicious requests or activity.
What you'll need to succeed
- a minimum of 2 years deliverable FX sales experience.
- Proven track-record for meeting and exceeding revenue targets and performance driven KPIs.
- First class communication skills, able to present, negotiate and influence at C-level.
- Exceptional ability to understand, empathise and ultimately sell.
- Strong, analytical pipeline management to understand the work you need to put in at the top of the funnel to get out the desired results.
- Ambition to hit challenging (but realistic) and rewarding targets.
- A proactive, resilient and entrepreneurial mindset that enables you to experiment with different techniques and remain positive.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- A level standard education, maths and / or economics preferred.
- Preferably a degree
- Experience working within a deliverable FX company is required.
- Sales experience dealing directly with customers on the phone.
- Experience of winning new business within FX or related industries is very desirable.
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong account management and customer service skills.
- Proven track record of delivering on revenue targets and making a key contribution to business growth.
- Strong expertise of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
INFO & BENEFITS
The position is full time and will be based at client’s office in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday 08:30h – 17:30
The position qualifies for
£30,000 to £65,000 DOE (Salary is commensurate with experience)
Bonus & Commission (Potential to Double OTE, year 1)
Contributory Pension
