The prestigious Alwoodley Golf Club in North Leeds is recruiting for an experienced full-time Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to lead a great young hospitality team with a hands-on approach within the F&B service areas offered at the Club.
It’s exciting times at AGC with constant development of the premium offering both on and off the golf course. The talented team of chefs produce an excellent menu including daily specials, using locally sourced fresh ingredients, all served by a young but experienced team of bar and waiting staff within our traditional dining room, impressive outdoor patio area, Member’s Club room & friendly bar area.
For this F&B leadership role, the Club is looking for a passionate team player who is excited by the prospect of helping maintain and develop the food and beverage offering. The successful candidate will lead and continue to develop the F&B team (permanent and casual) which has a strong service ethos and takes pride in delivering exceptional service on a daily basis. This will be exemplified by a ‘we are one team’ approach with a high degree of flexibility and limited demarcation between staff assigned to kitchen and bar.
Overview:
As the face of the Front of House Team, the F&B Manager will be responsible for leading, motivating, and training the team to achieve an exceptional member and guest experience, whilst assisting the Club Manager to grow the department in line with the broader business plan. Key duties include:
· Creating a welcoming atmosphere, anticipating member and guest needs.
· Using a hands-on approach to ensure members and guests receive a positively memorable experience.
· Liaising with members and staff in terms of observations and feedback with a sympathetic, professional and proactive attitude.
· Helping to set a high level for all procedures and standards.
· Ensuring the team are motivated to deliver services to the required standard of excellence.
· Organising daily duties, weekly rotas and allocating staff to appropriate service areas.
· Overseeing opening and closing service areas, including end of day cash ups.
· Assisting with ordering and stock control in the bar.
· Demonstrating flexibility with work shift patterns in line with the business needs

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Front of House management position.
· Flexibility to work daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
· Experience in delivering and overseeing service within a bar / formal dining, and/or events setting
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· High standard of professionalism, personal appearance & hygiene.

Salary: £20,050.03-£37,522.03 per year
