Job description
These roles will be based in our Customer Restaurant, Swedish Bistro and Dish Room areas, and also our Back of House (Kitchen Production) area.
Scheduled interview dates: One to one interviews week beginning 22 May, and one planned group assessment centre on 07 June at 17:00pm - 19:00pm.
Scheduled induction date: 11 June or 25 June 2023.
CONTRACT INFORMATION
- £10.90 an hour (Living Wage Foundation Employer).
- Permanent contract working 12 to 39 hours a week.
- Our busiest times are at the weekends and evenings, and evening and weekend work will be required but we will do our best to accommodate your availability.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
You will contribute to a passionate, friendly and driven team effort to deliver a better everyday life for the many. While prior experience working in hospitality and customer service is desirable, at IKEA we offer full training for this role. So, if you are driven and motivated, we want to hear from you!
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
Our Food & Beverage Assistants work in a safety-first, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and efficient multi-tasking. You will create a safe, delicious, sustainable, and affordable food experience for customers and co-workers.
FRONT OF HOUSE ASSISTANTS
You will attend to our customers, ensuring they receive a great customer experience. You will be passionate about our IKEA Food range, and be happy to share this information and assist our customers with any queries. You will understand the importance of food safety, and work in a professional and diligent manner.
KITCHEN PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS
You will prepare and serve the many customers from breakfast time through to an evening meal. This role will involve the production of large volumes of quality cold and hot foods for our many customers, and at times serving customers at our hot food counter. This is a physically demanding but rewarding job.
