Enhanced Care Services - First Responder (Bank)

ECS is a rapidly developing organisation with a clear ethos of high quality provision across all healthcare sectors. We are looking to expand our cohort of First Responders to join our team of driven individuals, striving for excellence.
We are looking for First Responders to cover a variation of events, from sporting events to Live Music events.
With other opportunities to join a range of ambulance and clinical services.
As well as being able to attend medical education at all levels.
Job Summary
● Work as part of the ECS clinical team providing care in a variety of locations including event and ambulance operations.
● Carry out assessment, care and treatment of patients as an operational clinician.
● Carry out First Responder duties, working within the scope of practice and adhering to protocols, policies, SOPs and clinical guidelines, seeking appropriate clinical advice and/or support as required.
● Engage with CPD opportunities and behave as an ambassador for ECS, displaying the organisation’s values and professionalism in all engagements.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
- Hold a minimum of one of the following:
- Qualsafe FREC 3 certification
- St John Ambulance Advanced First Aider certification
- British Red Cross Enhanced Skills First Aider
- NHS ECA/ECSW course certification
- HFRS IEC Qualification
- 2nd year Student Paramedic
- Current pre-hospital experience or experience of providing emergency medical response
- Hold a full UK driving license including with a maximum of 3 penalty points.
- Relevant additional courses such as ILS
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Previous operational clinical experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the professional clinical guidelines and codes of conduct appropriate to this role
Aptitudes and attributes
- Physically fit and able to undertake the physical aspects of the role
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication and social skills
- Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative
- Potential and willingness for personal change with the ability and commitment to learn new skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and act under pressure

- Flexible with regards to hours of work
- Able to work a full range of shifts supporting a 24/7 shift
