We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the CIIOM Transformation team in the role of Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Manager.
How would you like to work at the very heart of Change within CIIOM? This is an exciting role to support the governance and delivery tracking of all key change programmes CIIOM. You will be responsible for the creation and management of the detailed change runway, ensuring there is a coordinated and joined up view of activity across all channels – meaning you’ll work closely with key senior managers within the organisation.
You will also be responsible for supporting market Transformation leads to ensuring that new projects have a sound business case, aligned with revenue targets, or deliver of the CIIOM risk agenda.
If you have a head for figures, this could be the role for you. You will track the spend against budget for the whole change portfolio. You will be accountable for determining the funding and resource demands and escalating appropriately, as well as tracking and managing the IT & Transformation Value Stream Investment Plans (VSIP).
In this role you will:
- Record and maintain a prioritised pipeline of business demand, and ensure associated quality assurance, prior to submission for approval
- Manage the VSIP portfolio of Change, including tracking and management of the IT Change the Bank (CTB) budget, ensuring all Tracking of end-to-end project costs.
- Engage with various stakeholders across CIIOM and building close relationships with different functions within the bank.
- Support Transformation leads with the funding and resource demands to enable them to implement change across CIIOM through the release of new projects / initiatives to help build revenue and build better systems for our customers and employees.
- Input into key governance forums providing a holistic view of delivery and escalating key risks or blockers to relevant forums / stakeholders
- Ensure the portfolio of change is adhering to Change Frameworks standards, working closely with Transformation leads and maintain regular control monitoring as supporting evidence
- Co-ordinate closely with Group team and Transformation leads for any portfolio asks for information or changes in ways of working
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience within a Change & PMO Environment
- A flexible and agile approach to change and project management, and will support others to respond in a similar way
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present clearly
- Experience using Jira
- Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
- Able to analyse data in detail and confident with numbers and using Excel
- Build effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
- A curious mind and resilient attitude, capable of connecting multiple stakeholders and programmes, asking the right questions, challenging the status quo, and using leadership to organise problem solving at pace
- Ability to influence and form relationships with senior stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams
- Prior working experience within an Agile environment
