This is a great opportunity for a hard-working individual, who is looking to support our

school community. As the First Aid School Nurse, you will lead and manage the medical room, working closely with the Inclusion manager ensuring that you contribute to effective pastoral systems and procedures are consistently implemented.

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and caring person who will work alongside the Inclusion manager and Safeguarding Lead. You will be responsible for providing first aid for the students within the academy during the school day.

The ideal candidate has:

  • worked as a professional in healthcare in a school as a competent first aider, paramedic or with ambulance services
  • w warm and caring nature with the ability to develop positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • a flexible approach to work with the ability to prioritise their workload
  • excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
  • a knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes – training can be provided
  • a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or equivalent

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability

to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
