Due to increased demand for our services we are expanding our technical operation and we require another highly motivated technician to join our team.
Our work is “giving people their lives back” after fire and water damage to homes and businesses. We carry out our practical and technical work, right in our customer's homes and businesses, usually while they are present.
We offer an interesting and varied role with an opportunity to learn new skills and be a part of our supportive and energetic team. This work may be demanding but it offers immense job satisfaction. You will frequently be dealing with people facing a crisis and through your skill and expertise you will provide practical help and effective solutions. In doing so you will make a real difference to people’s lives.
The work
- Each job starts with meeting the customer and gaining an understanding of their needs and concerns. You are ready to help them.
- You would be driving a fully equipped “Quick Response” van, prepared to carry out urgent work such as water extraction, decontamination after flooding, detection of trapped moisture , installation of drying equipment and our remote moisture monitoring systems.
- On other visits you could be installing equipment to release trapped moisture, adjust drying equipment or carry out other work that needs to be completed to assist the customer get back to normal.

- You have a strong desire to complete tasks fully, including associated record keeping
- You have good problem solving and decision-making skills – the ability to take ownership of decisions, think through problems logically and explain your reasoning when required, plus sound judgement to escalate an issue when required
- You are confident heading up small work teams and able to effectively plan and supervise their work on site
- You are willing to work overtime and to join the on call rota (about one in four weeks). This rota allow us to rapidly respond to emergency incidents out of normal working hours.
- You are willing to respond when there are occasional and unusual severe weather events, when we have many customers in distress at one time. We are highly motivated to help at these times. These events can necessitate a companywide response, and extended working for a few weeks.
