Based at: Head Office, The Corn Store, Hyde Hall Farm, Buntingford, Hertfordshire

Hybrid Working available: Minimum 2 days per week required in Head Office

Hours of Work: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

The Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join our team, reporting into the Head of Business Intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a mathematical field and a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience. The successful candidate will possess advanced skills in SQL, Microsoft Azure, and Power BI.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop complex reporting solutions using SQL, Microsoft Azure, and Power BI.
• Develop and maintain SQL databases, queries, and stored procedures to support reporting needs.
• Create dynamic and visually appealing reports using Power BI, incorporating advanced analytical techniques to help make decisions.
• Work closely with business users to understand their reporting needs and translate them into actionable reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity and accuracy.
• Continuously improve the reporting infrastructure by identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

Experience and Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis and report development.
• Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Azure, and Power BI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Experience in data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes is a plus.
