Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment and proper approval process
- Experience processing employee expenses
- Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
- Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received and approved by the purchasing manager before issuing payment to vendors
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
Skill Requirements:
- An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required
- Previous Experience in similar role would be beneficial
- Detail oriented and organized
- Written and oral communication skills
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
