Job description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment and proper approval process
  • Experience processing employee expenses
  • Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
  • Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received and approved by the purchasing manager before issuing payment to vendors
  • Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner

Skill Requirements:

  • An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required
  • Previous Experience in similar role would be beneficial
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Written and oral communication skills

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
