My client is a well-established leading industrial services provider based in Middlesbrough, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. This division has a turnover of approximately £15 million, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Your role:
They are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join their finance team. As a Finance Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes within the company. Your responsibilities will include managing purchase orders, timesheets, contracting orders, and issuing invoices.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and reconcile timesheets, ensuring accurate recording of employee hours and expenses.
  • Process contracting orders, verifying contractual requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Issue accurate and timely invoices to clients, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and procurement teams, to gather necessary information and resolve any finance-related queries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
Your requirements will include:
  • Previous experience in a finance administration role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in using financial management software, such as Business Central or Nav, would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent numerical and data entry skills.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
