What we're looking for:

We’re looking for someone who has the willingness to learn, develop and adapt to new circumstances to join our Finance Team as a Legal Cashier. You must have excellent attention to detail and ensure that high standards of accuracy are maintained, as you’ll be performing daily bank reconciliations of all accounts within our case management system.

You’ll have drive and self-determination with the ability to find and implement solutions to problems. As you’ll be handling client queries, you must have customer services skills with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to communicate clearly and precisely both verbally and by email. ‍

Some of the things you'll get up to:

• Processing client invoices, payments and post to client ledgers
• Performing daily bank reconciliations of all accounts within the case management system
• Processing sales and purchase invoices within the case management system

We'd like you to have:

• Experience with law firms, specifically day to day administration of Solicitors Accounts Rules is essential
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn new systems and processes as required
• Ability to plan and organise, prioritise, making effective use of time and resources to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and ability to organise and check own work
• Diligent, discreet and professional
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, online banking systems and procedures are an advantage
• Experience with handling client queries both face to face and by telephone is an advantage
