Senior Project Finance Analyst
Hybrid – Lewes 2 days a week

The position is a newly created role to join the Project Finance Team (5 people) reporting directly to the Lead Project Accountant. It’s a pivotal role for the team and one which would suit an analytically skilled, commercially minded, pro-active individual who is looking for the opportunity to really add value to a growing business. The role includes line management of 3 individuals with previous managerial experience desirable but flexible if someone presents themselves with the competencies to step-up to a managerial role.

Overview of role:
- Day to day line management for three direct reports.
- Responsibility for managing all client invoicing / billing activity across the company.
- Partnering the business to provide commercial support and insight in the management of our largest and most complex projects, including the development of commercial models.
- Business partnering different areas of the business and providing feedback on commercial decisions.
- Providing support and guidance in regards to the wider project portfolio.
- Delivery of Project Accounting training to client facing staff.
- Responsibility for production, reconciliation and validation of applications for payment to Project Management system.
- Review of client assessments and generation of sales invoice for submission to client. Support the Project Manager in the resolution of disallowed costs.
- Regular review of contractual financial information ensuring all data is up to date e.g. rates, tasks, personnel, budgets, POs and client details.
- Identification, analysis and assessment of financial risks and opportunities on projects.
- Analysis and reporting of project financials for business wide stakeholders.
- Working flexibly and to a consistently high standard.
- Undertaking other reasonable tasks commensurate with this role.
