They are offering an excellent opportunity to join their team in the role of Finance Manager. Managing one direct report the idea candidate will have:
4-6 years of related post-qualification experience in public accounting and/or financial services
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
Listed and/or FCA-regulated company experience
Strong admin and technical skills (particularly MS excel, power point and MS Projects)
Experience of managing and supporting a colleague
Responsibilities to include:
Engage with external parties to review monthly management accounts for the Company and its two subsidiaries on a timely basis- Engage in technical accounting dialogue with the external audit
- Prepare capital management fee calculations and billing statements
- Review quarterly VAT returns and relevant working papers
- Engage with external parties on the production and submission of tax returns
- Provide reports to Board every quarter and present financials to the Board
- Manage FCA quarterly returns with the compliance officer
- Develop and uphold processes to ensure timely and accurate accounting functions
- Manage implementation of new invoicing system
- Review revenue schedule and support accounts payable processing
- Review and approve invoice payments via the bank
- Review monthly payroll, staff benefits, pension, and expenses
- Prepare Company’s budget and cashflow forecast
