Team Introduction
Finance BP and Business FP&A is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and management reports.
About Us:
TikTok Europe is seeking a Finance Business Partner who will be instrumental in driving TikTok's continued success in Europe. Based in our London office, this role plays a pivotal part in providing strategic guidance and partnership to key business functions, including the UK/Nordics General Manager, Content Partnerships, Programming, Marketing, Data Center, and Safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Provide strategic support and advice to the General Manager, Marketing lead, and function heads.
- Financial Planning: Lead the Financial Planning process for key functions, including the development of near-term and long-term budget plans, monitoring budget consumption, conducting variance analyses, and regularly updating budgets/forecasts.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze the financial performance of the regional business, generating proposals for improving financial performance.
- Optimization: Responsible for optimizing practices, policies, programs, procedures, and personnel activities.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with other business units, offering high-quality financial advice to support company-wide decision-making.
- Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to generate critical business insights, delve into key cost drivers, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Industry Analysis: Conduct regular industry analysis and Business Intelligence research.
Experience:
- Experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or equivalent roles in content, media, or tech industries.
- Proven track record of complex financial planning and analysis.
- Strong data management skills, including the ability to work with large volumes of data and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with strong logical reasoning and critical thinking.
- Cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills in a global working environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environment.
