About Us
Magna Housing is a community-based housing association. We mainly work in Dorset and Somerset (our head office is in Dorchester) providing housing services to local people.
About the Role
We are looking for a committed, self-motivated, positive and pro-active individual.
The ability to meet deadlines is essential whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
What you will do
- Registering and processing of purchase ledger invoices and matching to PO’s/GRN’s
- Arranging payments to suppliers either within the purchase ledger or manually
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Dealing with internal PO/GRN queries and progressing queries
- Month ends reports and reconciliations
- Opportunities for other ad hoc duties
Who we are looking for
- You must be confident with using IT systems and have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365 and using Excel.
- You must have great attention to detail, good communication skills and put customers at the heart of what you do.
- Educated up to GCSE or equivalent including English and Math’s, at grade C/4 grade or above.
You will mostly be working from home, and we will provide full equipment to enable you to do your role. Travel to our head office in Dorchester will be required during training and as and required to meet business needs.
