Our next project is to build the ultimate connected hub for the social home. It’s going to revolutionise the way residents interact with their homes and landlords manage their properties.
Our journey
We may be only 8 years old, but it’s already been quite a ride. Our first product, the connected Switchee thermostat is already in 120 of the UK’s biggest housing providers.
We’re growing 100% year on year and are backed by some of the best-known investors in technology and social impact. We are a small team of 65 passionate and ambitious people driven by a collective desire to make a positive impact in the housing sector, both for residents and landlords.
Your responsibilities
As an Accounts Assistant you will be a key support to the growing Commercial Finance team. You take responsibility for Invoicing and Credit Control and develop key system skills to ensure our systems are aligned and reconciled. You will support the wider finance team and provide valuable opportunities for personal growth and learning.
The role
- Credit Control
- Customer Invoicing
- Customer Onboarding and Documentation Review
- Process and Procedure improvement related to role
- Assisting in the Reconciliation of orders, to dispatches and Invoices
- Support the Operations team in managing the returns and warranty process
- General compliance and finance administration
- Other duties that may arise as we scale
We are a company built on a strong technical foundation. You’ll need to grasp and effectively manage a range of data sets, technology platforms and organisational complexity. Most importantly you will need initiative and drive.
Who You Are

- Experience in a similar role, or strong transferable skill set
- Strong customer service and/or admin background
- Genuine love for finance and systems improvements
- High attention to detail and a love of continuous learning and development.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities to meet demanding client deadlines.
- Ability to identify issues and resolve them with minimum supervision
- AAT qualification or a desire to study for an accounting qualification is preferred
