Who will you be:
You will be a strong financial analyst with 2-3 years’ experience in a finance related role either within accounting, corporate finance or inhouse finance department. You will be a natural problem solver who is able to breakdown problems and systematically work through them to create solutions. You will have exceptional attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure.
What you will be doing:
You will be working within the Finance and Corporate Development teams, working closely with the broader Finance Department to create reports and analysis for the business and our stakeholders. You will be integral to the business planning and forecasting process and closely involved with working with the business to assess performance and develop forecasts for future performance. You will support the broader business with creating business cases for new initiatives / strategies. You will also work within the Corporate Development function to support on various projects including capital raising, M&A and creating of partnerships.
As a key member of a small team your will be responsible for:
- Production of monthly reporting spanning all areas of the business, driving increased efficiency and automation
- Planning / Forecasting of the business
- Provide ad hoc analysis for the senior leaders, Board and other internal and external stakeholders
- Support on Corporate Development projects across the full life cycle from sourcing to completion
- Supporting business departments to create business cases for new initiatives and strategies
- Work closely with various business units to help them understand their performance
- Development and improvement of analytics and processes: automating processes and controls
- To work as an integral part of the finance team and offer assistance and support to the rest of team as and when necessary

In addition, it would be great if you had:
- Knowledge of experience of insurance
- Experience with SQL
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
