Salary: £45,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience) plus bonus and benefits
Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working – such as 2-3 days on site/home

You will be entering a world of high technology that focuses on the design, development, production and through life support of highly complex weapon systems. MBDA operates as a trusted part of the defence community in our home nations and with their allies, providing decisive military capability to protect national security and enable strategic independence.
Due to our continuing growth, we are seeking highly talented finance professionals to join the team helping us to drive our future success. The finance team consists of over 400 people, predominantly based across Europe, of whom ~110 are based in the UK, who partner with all areas of MBDA in order to enhance stakeholder value, protect the assets of MBDA and align with national and shareholder requirements.
Financial roles include:
- Financial appraisals of bids and proposals to customers; business cases for the launch of new products or future concepts;
- Financial control through the execution stage of our long term contracts, ensuring reliable forecasts of estimates of costs to go, risk provisions and opportunity capture;
- Financial control of our cost-base, capital expenditure, headcount, hourly rates and our engineering / manufacturing facilities;
- Generation of consolidated financial reports and statements covering actuals, forecasts, annual budgets and longer term strategy plans;
- Leading on financial aspects of due diligence and negotiations on mergers and acquisitions
- Excellent finance skills including ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification;
- Proactive, energetic, positive individuals, taking ownership of activities to deliver in a timely and accurate manner and drive through improvement;
- Strong communication and listening skills to influence decisions based on financial information;
- A desire to partner with operational areas outside of finance
- Forward thinking / adaptability to anticipate risk and seize opportunities to make valuable contributions.
