Our client is a leading telecommunications company that are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fibre Splicer to join their team on a contract basis.
We are looking for Fibre Splicers with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Job Title: Fibre Splicer
Location: South Coast
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term Rolling Contract
Rate: £96K Per Annum (Based on day rate £400 P/D)
Day To Day Responsibilities Of The Role:
- Splicing and testing and ariel teams across the network.
- Cab work, joint work, working at heights.
- Mainly working on the City-Fibre contracts.
Must Have Experience Required / Certifications Required:
- Minimum experience of 2 years in Fibre Splicing
- City-Fibre experience.
- BT accreditations - SA001 and SA002 (overhead / underground).
- S7/S8 – installation.
- S1 / S8 – overhead.
- Streetworks (Unit 2).
Tooling Required
- Hand tools
- Splicer
- Chapter 8 Van
- Tester - Beneficial
- Full PPE
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Salary: £96,000.00 per year
