We are looking for a Project Manager (Telecom).

This is an opportunity to work remotely but some travel to company offices and client visits within the UK will be required.

About the Role:
We have a varied and exciting portfolio of projects within the company that we are working with. What makes the portfolio so exciting, is the range of strategic projects that you will have the opportunity to lead end-to-end. Supported by senior stakeholders will provide you with a real opportunity to work across our complete business operation, hand in glove with some of the biggest Telecommunication companies in the UK, as well as some exciting rapidly expanding Fibre Alt Network firms.
As a Project Manager, you will establish and lead company-wide, cross-divisional, strategic initiatives. You could manage both standalone end-to-end change projects and be part of a wider programme of work. You will be responsible for leading the project team reporting back to sponsors and senior stakeholders ensuring we are realising results within the agreed parameters.

The successful candidate needs to be able to hit the ground running, demonstrate a clear ability to make an impact and build solid stakeholder relationships. You will lead through best practice and showcase an ability to flex and deal with a fast-paced change environment.

Key Responsibilities include:
Accountable for defining, planning, and delivering projects and strategic initiatives to conclusion
Work collaboratively with our people such as the internal team as well as our Clients
Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within the agreed-on time, on cost and quality parameters
Represent the project in various project governance forums
Determine and track project timelines and milestones
Contribute to a high performing project team creating a culture of continuous improvement
Influence and manage senior partners

Skills and Experience:
An ability to build relationships and earn the trust of sponsors and partners, alongside resolving conflicts and removing impediments.
Good experience within project and change delivery, having delivered a variety of projects of different types of end to end
Good knowledge and use of project management methodologies and tools such as Prince2, Six Sigma, PMQ or CSM
Excellent influencing skills
Experience in directly managing the project life-cycle end to end
Solid business and technical knowledge
Excellent stakeholder management, as you will work across all levels of our business
Ability to delegate and manage external and internal suppliers
Excellent problem solver and critical thinker, who is self-motivated
Developed and practised core project management skills
Change expert - able to bring people with you and embed change
Comfortable working with data aspects of projects and excellent knowledge of systems development
Demonstrable personal portfolio of successful project profiles
