Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending multi-property developments to determine the best installation routes for fibre optic networks:
- Identifying suitable locations for a comms cabinet to be installed.
- Plan internal cable routes through riser cupboards or other containment.
- Plan internal cable routes throughout communal areas of buildings.
- Create floor plans of MDU properties.
- Plan PIA routes where required.
- Plan civils works where required.
- Liaison with third parties working in conjunction with the client.
- Delivering a high level of customer service when out in the field.
Other Responsibilities:
- To carry out risk assessments and vehicle inspections
- Ensure compliance with all company-controlled documents, including all method statements and procedures.
- To undertake any training that would be required for the role
- Work with Project Manager to build a program of works.
Other Information:
- Remuneration – OTE of £44,500 per annum consisting of:
o Basic salary of £32,500 per annum.
o Tiered bonus structure, with potential earnings of up to £12,000 per annum
- Hours of work – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday unless agreed otherwise.
- Holidays – 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
- Training will be provided where necessary.
- The role will require frequent stays away from home due to the locations of work, so the applicant must be prepared to travel as the role requires. The company will work with you to plan work as efficiently as possible.
- A suitable vehicle will be provided, and all transport costs covered
- Accommodation costs will be covered whilst staying away from home.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria:
- A comprehensive understanding of network planning & design.
- Previous surveying/engineering experience.
- Full driving licence.
- IT knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to complete and submit work promptly’
Must be able to set up a suitable desk/workstation at home for completing admin duties
Must be comfortable annotating photos using handheld devices (Training will be provided)
