JOB PURPOSE
As our Commercial Strategy Analyst at Burberry, you will be supporting a Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy in delivering research and analysis around a number of key commercial strategy projects, with a focus on space planning, store performance and product optimisation.
This Commercial Strategy Analyst role is offered on a full time, permanent basis and will be based in our iconic Horseferry House offices in Westminster, London.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support with research and analysis to inform the definition, project management and implementation of major commercial strategy projects
- Develop and maintain reporting capability and tools to identify optimisation opportunities across the retail distribution business
- Deliver reports and presentations to inform senior stakeholders on progress across activities and overall performance and drive business decisions
- Support with the coordination of retail activation programmes (e.g pop-ups) across functions to develop best in class customer experienced and determine global best practice
- Prepare materials for meetings and conferences to support the Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy and Chief Commercial Officer – including materials for Trading Committee and Board meetings
- Product ad hoc thematic research and analysis appropriate to corporate needs
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Professional experience within a consulting organisation, investment bank or luxury retail business
- Advanced Excel skills essential, working knowledge of Tableau desirable
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) essential, other languages advantageous
- Proficient in Powerpoint/Keynote
- Commercial acumen and awareness, knowledge of business management and strategy
- Exceptional communicator across all levels of seniority and expertise
- Inquisitive, proactive and organised
