We have an exciting opportunity for a female live-in carer available in the Pontefract area of Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This will be Tuesday to Tuesday, and is alternate weeks. The pay is £764.40 for each week worked and annual leave in accrued in addition to this.
We are seeking individuals with a caring nature who are reliable and committed to making a difference and would like to be part of a supportive team. Previous care experience essential in this role with full training and ongoing support given. We fully fund Home carers through their NVQ level 2 in Health & social care (QCF) and other client specific training.

The responsibilities of this role are:
- Support the client with daily living tasks
- Provide companionship and social stimulation
- Support with help in the home, shopping and meal preparation/meal planning
- Managing the safety and wellbeing of the client
- Support the client to attend social events/ places of interest/ shops/appointments etc

Requirement
- Committed, caring and compassionate with a clear desire to support others
- Enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Previous experience of a role within care essential
- Previous experience of a live in role preferable
- Mental health awareness essential
