At Right at Home Derby and East Staffs, our Complex Care Assistants provide a high level of personal, physical & emotional care to all our clients in the community.
We are looking for a female carer who has patience, is friendly and attentive, with good communication skills and a sense of humour. You will work as part of a small team to support a gentleman living with a Head Injury in the Barrow upon Trent/Swarkestone area. You will be expected to deliver an exceptional standard of care and support for;
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Medication administering
- Manual handling as specified by the Clients Physiotherapist
- Support within the community to go for walks
Although we are looking for a Care Assistant with some previous experience, additional training, shadowing and full support will be provided for this role.
Care is provided 12 hours a day / 7 days a week and every Saturday over night shift. Shifts are split between to the care team into 6 hourly of 7:45am - 13:45pm and 13:45pm - 19:45pm.
Possible set days on a 2 week rolling rota.
