Family Support Practitioner - Ref: CH12022
Salary: G7 £29,439 - £33,820 per annum
Post 1: 37 hours per week, permanent
Post 2 & 3: 37 hours per week, fixed term until March 2025
These are exciting opportunities of progression for dynamic and experienced ‘family-centred’ practitioners who hold relevant academic or professional qualification at level 3 or higher to play a significant role within the delivery of our Family Early Help Service.
Our transformed Family Early Help Service provides early help through a whole family approach based on collaboration with families and with partners from schools, health, children’s services and the community.
We have vacancies available within our workforce to further enhance our sense of purpose and our growing expertise. We are looking for:
- Enthusiastic candidates who have significant experience and working knowledge of an early intervention setting and statutory work with children and families.
- Reflective practitioners who have a track record of working holistically with children, young people and families within a whole family model.
- Highly skilled practitioner who will demonstrate your extensive capability in engagement, undertaking comprehensive whole family assessments which create clear goals, and support your use of evidenced informed practice. We especially invite applications from workers with experience of working with children with additional needs and their families.
- someone who can demonstrate their skillset to act as a ‘lead professional’ and the importance of working purposefully and collaboratively with all family members and other agencies to achieve best outcomes for children.
- An awareness of SEND, education issues and understanding of how to work with schools and families to drive engagement of children and families in educational attendance and ambition.
