Job description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leader in their field based in Braintree, Essex.
We are looking for a Factory Worker who has previous experience within a factory/manufacturing environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a company on an temporary to permanent basis, where you will get fully trained on the machine operating of industry specific machinery.
Duties of the Factory Worker will include:
- Ensure good housekeeping at all times - sweeping, emptying bins, clearing areas.
- Operating various machinery including sand blasters and moulding machines
- General Labouring
- Operating Counterbalance forklift
- Assisting skilled operators in their roles
- Work to company targets
- All other factory duties as required
The ideal applicant:
- Previous factory/production/engineering experience
- Candidates must be aware this role will include some heavy lifting
- Able to complete manual handling tasks
- Able to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Excellent level of English reading and writing and Maths skills
- An in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be an advantage
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 15:00
- £10.42ph (increase once perm)
- Temp-Perm role
