We are urgently seeking Factory Production Operatives. Immediate start
The role
Due to expansion, we have multiple opportunities for machine operators within our factory in Segensworth, Fareham (PO15 5RY)
Experience in manufacturing and factory work would be beneficial. Applicants must be willing to work both shifts of 4on 4off, 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00 including nights and weekends.
The job purpose is to:
- To help the operators on the production lines.
- To produce to agreed quality standards and production requirements.
- Ensuring all machines are running correctly.
- To adhere to all Health & Safety and other company policies.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by team leaders.
The candidate
- An understanding and experience of a FMCG manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but not essential, as FULL training will be given.
- You will need to be able to follow instructions accurately, be physically fit and have a willing attitude and be happy with manual work.
- You will need to work within a small production team in a busy manufacturing environment.
- You must have good English communication skills.
- There are opportunities to learn other skills such as technical problem solving.
- You should be comfortable with computerized/touch-screen based machinery controls; however, full training will be given.
- You should have good timekeeping.
- There is the opportunity for career progression.
Working days and hours & breaks
- 4on 4off 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00 including nights and weekends.
Probation period
6 months
Paid holiday entitlement
- 20 days (pro rata) + Bank Holidays
- 1 extra day for each completed year of service up to 25 days max.

Salary
Would start at £9.78 per hour paid monthly (last friday of the month). Increased to £10.30 after successful completion of assistant’s training.
£50 per week shift attendance bonus when working on a shift (conditions apply).
Further salary increase depends on progression and on-job training achievements.
