As a Facilities Coordinator you will be working within a fast-paced Facilities/Maintenance Team as the escalation point for the FM Helpdesk, Stores and Wider Business. You will Support all functions connected with the FM Services and operations of the Retail Estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the facilities maintenance regime for the sites across the business, including all hard and soft services. Developing detailed building maintenance best practices.
- Support FM Helpdesk and Stores in managing all aspects of repairs and maintenance issues
- Manage contractors and jobs through to completion
- Ensure planned maintenance works are completed
- Support all team members where necessary
- Deal with escalation queries from Helpdesk, stores and contractors
- Competently identify and diagnose maintenance issues to ensure the correct contractor is assigned and all works are being identified correctly
- Liaising with both external contractors and stores to make sure maintenance issues are completed to a good standard
- Ensuring that all accompanying paperwork is suitably processed including sense checking and processing of invoices
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment (preferably retail but not essential).
- Some knowledge of FM and Health & Safety with a good understanding of how a facilities team works and functions.
- Some experience in a customer service role with excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Good understanding of all Microsoft Office and Administration
- You will be an organised person with strong attention to detail, as well as having a proven ability to manage a varied and competing workload.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills along with previous knowledge/history of working within the reactive and planned service and maintenance area would be advantageous.
- You will have an aptitude for learning and developing systems and processes, as well as ability to work well with detailed, numerical information.
- Ultimately, we require someone who is enthusiastic, is a team player and is good at managing their time and using their own initiative.
