We are looking for an experienced keeper to join our amazing animal care team at Dartmoor Zoo.
Located just outside of Plymouth at the edge of Dartmoor, we have an exciting animal collection of big cats, other carnivores, hoof stock, smaller mamals, birds and reptiles. We are a charity with a vision to protect threatened species and enable people to help wildlife thrive. Our mission is to conserve wildlife, promote wellbeing and educate future generations by inspiring people to be more engaged with nature.
This position will be fully accountable for animals and associated areas within assigned animal rounds. You will act as a leader and role model, as well as be an advisor and mentor on all aspects of husbandry procedures and protocols. This will include training and supervision of more junior staff, volunteers, placements, and project teams.
