The Opportunity
FICO is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide efficient and effective 360° support to the General Manager of the EMEA region. The successful candidate will play a key role in upholding and promoting our vision, values, and culture both within and outside the offices. Tenacity, organisation, and commitment will be amongst your key attributes. You must also possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills and be able to always exercise discretion and diplomacy. You must be able to produce a range of presentations, reports and documents that reflect our leading quality standards for executive level responsibilities. The appointed candidate will become a member of a vibrant and supportive sales team that takes pride in everything they do.
What You’ll Do
- With a primary responsibility of supporting the EMEA General Manager, provide support to the executive team as directed to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished.
- Act as the point of contact amongst executives, employees, clients, and other external partners.
- Creation of presentations and material for both internal and external events, including internal reporting, the quarterly EMEA Town Hall updates, External Leadership Summits, and regional conferences.
- Represent the General Manager in a variety of meetings to ensure progress is maintained and business performance is achieved.
- Construct and own EMEA-wide communications and regional announcements on behalf of the GM, writing client emails and letters, and creating and collating materials for leadership meetings the GM has been required to attend and present at.
- Co-ordination of key leadership meetings, including travel and accommodation arrangements, creating agendas, and recording and tracking key actions.
- Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the General Managers priorities are met, organisational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.
- Manage scheduling, including agendas, mail, email, calls, travel arrangements, client management, and other company logistics.
- Coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, as well as management of content and flow of information across the leadership team.
- Be an active member of the Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee.
What We’re Seeking
- The role requires a highly self-motivated, dedicated, and practical person who possesses a broad range of people and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in an executive support role is essential, with a software company background would be desirable but not vital.
- Exceptional skills using Microsoft packages: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent computer skills, you will be required to quickly learn the internal systems.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and to suggest improvements to processes.
- Exceptional communication skills and an ability to work with executive level individuals.
- Confident self-starter, able to work proactively, think ahead and multi-task in a fast-moving environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills and 'can-do' attitude, fantastic in time management and extreme attention to detail.
- Sensitive and diplomatic management of multiple levels of employees with a high level of confidentiality.
- Confidence in decision making and prioritisation of tasks.
