BAE do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected, on our Graduate Programme, you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.
Salary £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus
What you will be doing
As a Legal Graduate you will take a lead role in supporting the business in its legal export control compliance, covering a wide range of activities including importing and exporting, licensing and assurance activities. You will provide support to both internal and external organisations, ensuring compliance with export control legislation is achieved.
This role involves support to all current submarine programmes and involves work across multiple areas of the business including IM&T, Security and Supply Chain and will provide you with excellent development opportunities. Follow your passion with the following responsibilities:
You will take the lead in supporting the business in conducting importing and exporting, managing licensing issues and conducting assurance activities. You will provide expert support to both internal and external organisations, ensuring that compliance with all applicable legislation is achieved.
In the Export Control role you will work towards ensuring we are fully compliant with all applicable export control legislation, including UK, US and the rest of the world’s regimes. This includes working with other areas such as IM&T, Security and Supply Chain to ensure compliance and best practice across all areas and across a team of experienced professionals.
Skills
As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or a related degree.
