What you need to know about the role…
The role of the People Services Administrator is to work with our amazing managers and teams to empower them and facilitate the full end to end employee journey in the simplest and most effective way.
Main job activities:
  • Provide high quality, timely responses to our people and line managers via email /phone calls/case management system
  • End to end employee lifecycle management from onboarding to off boarding within our service level agreements.
  • FirstpointofcontactforallPeopleandPeopleSystemsrelatedquestionsandqueriesfromourteamsusingFreshService
  • Allocating Tickets in our case management system Fresh Service
  • Manage People Operations Dashboard, ensuring action is taken in a timely manner to resolve outstanding items
  • Ownership of advising on and processing of all elements of the end-to-end employee journey via Workday in a timely and accurate manner
  • Responding and supplying of reference requests for prior employees in line with SLA’s
  • Managing of password reset requests in our Workday system in line with SLA’s
  • Simply breaking down processes in our human capital management system Workday for employees, managers and leadership, presenting information in a way that is easy to understand, for speedy resolution of queries and effective training
  • Work in conjunction with the broader People Team (Employee Relations, Performance & Development Payroll & Recruitment) to deliver a seamless employee experience
  • Undertake and support with project work and ad-hoc people administration tasks as required
  • Support employees, managers, and leadership on solving any day-to-day issues.
  • To be responsible for ensuring we have up to date and accurate workforce data in Workday and that we are using the system as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Flagging any process or system improvements to the people services and reward manager, helping to provide potential resolutions and supporting implementation.

  • Ability to challenge, coach, motivate managers to enable them to lead a team to produce positive results
  • Prior administration experience
Desirable skills
  • Prior experience of working in a People Department
  • HRIS system knowledge – specific Workday experience would be desirable
  • Experience using Fresh Service or a case management system would be desirable
  • Educated to degree level or CIPD Qualified (or equivalent) would be desirable
  • Basic knowledge of People processes including right to work checks and types of leave
