About the role
Technical Services at Staffordshire University wishes to appoint an innovative, enterprising, ambitious, and experienced administrative assistant to support service delivery across our five divergent specialist technical hubs.
Acting as the first contact point for critical aspects of service delivery, you will provide a confidential and professional support service for the department by effectively co-ordinating and maintaining records and documentation relating to service administration, and enhancement of the student experience. You will possess excellent I.T. skills, particularly in relation to Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
A proven track record within an administrative environment is essential, ideally within large, complex organisations, as is the ability to liaise with colleagues from a range of disciplines and backgrounds, with a passion for supporting the pursuit of excellence in education. Experience of supporting the administration of financial forecasting and budget management, in accordance with financial regulations, is desired.
The successful candidate will be expected to engage with colleagues from across the organisation and work as a team member to deliver on the strategic objectives of Technical Services and wider projects as appropriate.
