Job description
We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Sports Assistant (Netball/Hockey) to join our team for a 1 year fixed-term contract from September 2023 to August 2024.
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching, supporting and assisting the games programme and Physical Education departments in all year groups (years 7 to 13).
They will demonstrate a passion for their subject and have experience in coaching Netball and/or Hockey. They will also be responsible for assisting in the planning and delivery of coaching sessions to students in a variety of sports, as well as taking an active role in coaching initiatives.
The successful applicant will have previous experience coaching a wide variety of games and have obtained an officiating or coaching qualification, however this is not essential.
A working knowledge of ICT is essential, as is a willingness to contribute to other school activities in a thriving boarding environment.
This role is for a term-time only position, and includes Saturday working to cover fixtures and other School events.
