Full Time Leeds, England 25000 - 35000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

The Position:

Executive Assistant

Following a period of rapid growth at Thrive Law, an Executive Assistant is now required to support its Managing Partner and the wider business.

This will not be like working at most law firms. You will be joining a forward thinking, dynamic and innovative business, working alongside a friendly, supportive and professional team ‘where people matter’.

The role will involve working closely alongside Managing Partner Jodie Hill on a wide variety of tasks whilst the business continues to grow its volume of both clients and employees. Experience of working in a law firm is desirable but not essential.

What is important is that candidates demonstrate excellent communication skills and experience of agile, pro-active working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Demonstrable experience of effective and proactive calendar and inbox management is essential.

What’s on Offer?

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and driven Executive Assistant to assist the Managing Partner through Thrive’s next phase of growth and development following our recent investment in a rebrand.

£25k - £35k per annum depending on experience (based on a full-time role)

Whilst the role is ideally full-time, we will consider full and part time roles from 3-5 days per week. We work smart and are flexible.

Benefits (based on a full-time role):

  • Flexible and Remote Working
  • ‘Sharing in Success’ bonus scheme
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 1 day additional holiday for your birthday
  • 2 x Wellbeing Days to support your mental health
  • Wellbeing Budget
  • 2 x CSR Days to support nominated charities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous PA or EA experience
  • Extremely proactive organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • The ability to manage inboxes, diaries and appointments effectively
  • Use of initiative in arranging & prioritising appointments, dealing with diary conflicts and coping with any “in flight” changes on a day-to-day basis.
  • Experience booking travel, events, media and speaking engagements
  • A flexible attitude, which will be reciprocated by the firm.
  • IT literacy and high competence in MS Office applications.
  • The ability to appropriately and discreetly deal with sensitive & confidential information
  • Willingness to assist in organising with other activities such as marketing and events
  • Experience of working with legal case management systems
  • A willingness to embrace technology and social media
  • Experience dealing with invoices and credit control

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Invested in the values on which Thrive was founded
  • Personable and down to earth
  • Proactive and willing to contribute ideas to help the management team learn and develop
  • Sufficiently confident to: communicate with; give feedback to; receive feedback from, and challenge at all levels of the business in order to improve ways of working
  • Local enough to Leeds to be able to attend the Thrive City Centre Head Offices and ad hoc events when required (a few times a month)
